I've bought many of these, cheap, at flea mrkets over the years and sometime put them with cased or boxed older models of S&Ws, Colts, marlins, etc. as a non factory accessory, when I sold or traded off the guns. I doubt S&W every included them with their guns as the blade styles on these screwdrivers are "Sewing Machine, or Typewriter Repair" styles, and not gun screw compatable. Ed.
