For everyone that wanted to see the grips finished, customer wanted the sheen to be close to that of the bluing so we knocked it down and smoothed it out, this grip reduction feels great in the hand, no need for t-grips here

The handgun is a beautiful piece of artwork. The trigger guard modification precludes the handgun from being carried as a personal protection weapon. A blow to the now unsupported guard would render the gun inoperable.

I think the gun came out great, the checkering on the front and back straps is a particularly nice touch. I've never had an issue with Fitz 'style' guns and your interpretation really does the originals proud.

My Krebs M28 Crowbar has a cut away or 'semi-Fitzed' trigger guard and it definitely makes a difference in trigger access with gloves and living in Maine being able to use your carry guns with gloves on is a legitimate concern. I can see a DAO Fitz style revolver being a realistic choice for winter carry.

true works of art... but I am not gunna get one...

WC145, Smith actually did the semi fitz trigger guard from the factory at one time, look up the model 19 Texas Ranger commemorative . .. .I'd love to do another very similar to the model 10 with a relieved guard on a model 13 or 65, either 2.5 or 3" barrel
