My old duty revolver (Model 65-1), my last backup (Model 12-2 retired to the safe), what replaced my last backup (Taurus 856), my old off duty/plainclothes revolver (Model 13-3 to my S-I-L), and the revolver my late wife claimed (Model 681 to my granddaughter's husband).

I could live with a 3 inch 581 with a 7 shot cylinder. Or maybe a 3 inch 58 RB.

I am a great fan of the S&W Models 10, 64, 581, 24, 57, etc. As long as the sights are close to POI they're the better choice IMO.

Fixed sight 4" barrel can't be beat for a house or carry gun.

Slight typo on model number ... model 57 is adjustable sighted 41 magnum . Model 58 is the fixed sighted 41 magnum .
