never really cared for most of the movies Elvis was in but in Flaming Star he is pretty good. a pretty good cast of stars as well. Barbara Eden looks really good

It's actually pretty decent.

I believe I've read that Elvis wanted
to do more dramatic movies and I
think he had the talent to do so

But his handler/handlers and studios
believed he was a total gold mine if
he just kept doing music/rock films
aimed at teenagers.

Pretty much after King Creole Elvis movies started going downhill although Viva Las Vegas had many redeeming features. Jailhouse Rock was a great movie with Elvis at his epitome of cool, song singing apex.

I met Barbara Eden in a TV studio and she looked even better in person than as Jeannie on TV. The same isn't true of many actors.

She was cheerful and gracious, gave her autograph.
