What gun are you on the lookout for?

I have 2 on my holy grail list. First and foremost, S&W 29-2 in 6.5” nickel with little to No turn line to add to my Smith nickel revolver collection, which consists now of 4” 10-6, 4” 15-3, 2.5” 19-2, 1 7/8” model 36 no dash. All are in extremely good to excellent condition. Secondly, a nickel S&W model 61 which is a small gun in 22LR

While I have your grail gun, I'm not looking to sell. Good luck with your search!

I am still after a S&W Model 15 with a 2” barrel. I’d also like to get a 4” barrel Model 627 with 8 rounds; 163357. With the round barrel and not slab-sided.

N-frame, .357, 3 1/2” or 4” any model, just a shooter doesn’t need to be a showpiece
And a 1st decade production M1903 Springfield that isn’t hacked up or really mismatched as heck

Anything Safari Arms. Have over 40, plus enough parts to build another 11 of their GI model.

S&W 3rd gens, specifically 5906. 1006, 1066, 4506, 4566. Have 15 5906s and 5 ea of the others

Model 38 Bodyguard Airweight.
1908 Colt Hammerless .32 ACP.
Champagne taste...Beer budget.
Willing to spend on the right item.

Had wanted an M16a1 clone to fill the gap between SP1 and AR15a2 for years, finally built one.
Next on the hit list will be a 9mm AR carbine, probably build it as IMO this adds to the fun of collecting then assembling then testing the end product.
Used to have a checklist but nowadays its more of I will know it when I see it.
Last three before the A1 clone were a 15-3 and two Hi power clones.

We all have our holy grails. And we have frivolous desires. And there are things we'd just like to try. What are some of yours?

My holy Grail is a deep blue pre-lock model 27 in 6" or 4".

I'd also like a 745, a stub-nose 28 or 29, an M1 Garand, a Glock47, a CZ75, a high end stainless 1911, a 1911 in 45ACP, a PCC of some type, a walther PPK (a Bond gun).

The reason I don't have all of these is that I'm a bargain hunter. It's hard for me to justify the cost to buy my holy grail. The enjoyment I get out of guns is significant..... But not enough to justify the cost of a say, a model 27 in fine condition. Finding a bargain is part of the fun, I guess.

What's on your wish list?
I would love to find a shooter grade model 63 and 629 in my local area for a reasonable shooter grade price been waiting a while.

I seem to have more guns than I know what to do with, and eventually will have to de-accession them. Could make a number of youse guys happy.

But there's always something out there that calls to you, you know? I've always wanted a Webley-Fosbery automatic revolver. I could sell a dozen out of the collection and get one, but it's hard to let go.

Almost every time I parted with a gun, I regretted it later, and sometimes bought the same model again.

It may be the only sickness that gifts you the medicine that stops the itch.
