Flint update,

It's been a week and all is going well. I found out he's never been inside of a house and he's really happy to be under my feet.

My Karli don't know what to think of her new little PITA brother but she puts up with him. Funny thing, when she had her big brother Diesel she would light him up when he got out of control. This little guy needs a tuneup but I guess she doesn't want to hurt him. Time will tell how much she'll put up with.

He eats like someone is gonna steel his food so I have to keep them apart come feeding time. He'll dive right into her food if I let him.

He does OK on the leash considering he's 9 weeks old, we'll work on it. So far we've only had a couple of "accidents" and he seems to get the outside thing but I need to be a little quicker.

Flint was a rescue, right? Maybe that's why he has that tendency to eat everything in sight? Just guessing here. He is a cutie!

Flint isn't a rescue. You're not confused, I posted about another one before.

I tried to get one at the shelter but had to pass due to his medical issues.

It still bothers me but someone else got him so I pray he's all good.

Ha, I had to look that up. It seemed so familiar.

When I was in the service a guy I worked with had a collection of Louis La'Amur books that he let me read.

I forgot about it all together until you mentioned it.

The story is, The first pup we were to get came from a line of Stones. Naturally one had to be named Flint.

The deal fell threw but the name stuck.

youre welcome. my parents were big fans and louis l'amour helped teach me to read .hes one of my faves, havent read one in years though .
i used to read most copies over and over and many of the characters names i can remember like real people.
