The Limb Bacon around here ~ have another gun to fear...;)

Added another smaller bore rifle to the Flintlock collection. This is in .36 caliber and was built by Jim Searles of J.P. Gunstocks. The stock is in a upgraded Tiger Maple, L&R Manton lock, Orion Barrel, and Hunter Star on cheekpiece. All the brass on the gun is engraved...

Charlie,

Need to take a little off the front sight. It's a capable gun. I'm expecting to work up a load for it that will keep em nice and tight. Gotta play with different patch thickness and ball sizes before the truth be told....then work with powders and wads to really see how she shoots.

With the few offhand shots that I made today...she's gonna be a fine gun. I expect she's been coned, as I can finger start a .350 ball with a thin patch.:)

You sure have some beautiful flintlocks giz! Wow! I don't think I've ever seen prettier Tiger Maple!

Dang that's purty Giz. Where do you come up with all of these fine guns?

holy wow, if you EVER decide to sale that gun you let me know. that is absolutely beautiful and there is nothing more fun than throwing a "punkin ball" at a tree rat. ;)
