Just bought a 4-digit serial number, 1880 vintage, .32 DA, 2nd model. It is sporting a pair of floral/turkey grips. This is my first experience with them. Do they look original or are they just a pair of modern "turkeys"? I cannot see a serial number penciled on the inside of either grip.
I didn't buy the gun because of the grips, so I won't be too upset if they are knock-offs. I just like old things ... which is, I tell my wife, why I like her so much.
Thanks for the help.
PS: Just noticed the first photo is a bit blurry. Sorry about that.
