I just read a post asking about a pill for super powers and the poster said that he always wanted to be able to fly. This reminded me of a picture my 5 year old Grand Daughter drew a picture of me flying the other day. The weird part is that I can see a definite resemblance in the face. She said, "here's you flyin' grampo".

Neat! I hope this turns out okay but by coincidence I just started flying again after not being active for about 34 years. In the last two weeks I have passed my flying physical, and took two lessons/bi annual test in a cessna 172. Once two weeks ago, and again last week, total of two hours. The inspector signed me off! I guess he has more confidence in me than I did! It did go good though. Now I have to go back to california, get a few landings in my tail dragger citabria and fly it back here. That has to be one of the longest restoration jobs in history! There were a lot of extenuating circumstances of course. Still have to get some details done and some equipment. My buddy recently sent me these short 30 secound videos of him test flying it. It was dismanteled and in his hanger for about the 34 years! Who says you cant teach a old dog new tricks?
