Food Porn, South Georgia Style. Sunday Dinner

Turnip Greens, Pinkeye Peas, Chopped Onion, Sweet 'Taters, Corn Bread, Fresh Pork Backbone, Sweet Tea.

There have been many times I enjoyed a meal like this when everything on the plate was produced on our farm. This time, I can only lay claim to growing the peas.

This was Sunday Dinner. Just finished. I hope I can get the picture posted before I doze off in the recliner.

I woulda posted last night-but ...well...you know...

I would show you a picture of the shrimp (25 count) and lump crabmeat etouffee I made last night-or the garlic bread I had with it or the Guiness I had with it-But there's none left.

Glad to see you back in good standing, Caje! Missed your posts and your comments on that awesome sounding Cajun food. Getting me hungry right now, but the old ball and chain is working midnights, and she's still asleep, so I guess it's a snack for me right now.....

Hey Redlevel, it is time to wake up from that nap. Good looking dinner. We had turkey, mashed taters n gravy, and green beans. Everything on the table came from the farm. Well, somebody's farm.
