For the owners of .32-20 revolvers

That sure beats the $75+ I've been seeing.

I used to buy their ammo at gunshows around Chattanooga when we lived there. Still have a bunch. Yep. Good stuff.

Since I own probably a dozen firearms in that chambering, I stocked up on live rounds and components years ago.

I'm down to six right now-a single action Uberti Model P Jr, a Colt PPS, an Official Police, an 1899 S&W, a 1902 S&W and a Greener Martini.

I have a Remington #2 in .22 LR that hopefully will become #7, someday down the road.

I started reloading for the .32-20 back in the '70s. I've got brass, bullets and a nice 31118 mould. :)

worth a road trip!

Dang Muley Gil;

Thanks for posting...at that price it is worth a road trip from here. Hopefully they will have some left if I can get the Mrs. to commit today to going.

By the way............it is only a measly 59 miles down the road (I-20) from Georgia Arms to Anniston, Alabama...home of CMP. What a bonus...grab your 32-20 WCF ammo, hustle down the road, grab a M1 Garand or 2, some bulk 45ACP or 30-06, maybe an 03-A3.

OK...OK... wishful thinking probably, but you never know.

On the serious side do any of you know if the 100 grain lead bullet in this Georgia Arms load is good for the revolvers of old heritage? I've been using HSM 115 grain Lead with absolutely no problems out of my 1921 wheel gun.

I used to see the folks from GA Arms at our local gun shows, but haven’t seen them lately. I guess I’ll have to get busy and load some 32-20s for my M&P as well as my Blackhawk. The M&P is just barely old enough to miss the improved heat treat, so everything I’ll load will be with that in mind. I recently traded for 100 virgin Winchester cases, and I think I’ve for another 50 of those as well as a bag or two of new Starline brass.

I sure wish S&W had seen fit to include a 32-20 in their post War Masterpiece series! Can you see a nice K32-20 with micro-adjustable sights and a narrow barrel rib? It looks like the 32-20 is achieving a small resurgence these days, but I can’t see the powers that be at S&W ever going back and making anything in that caliber again. But then again, with S&W, “Never say never!”

The GA ammo should be safe in any quality revolver in good condition. I've shot some older Georgia Arms ammo in my Model of 1899 S&W.

Hey MG, di you get to the last Salem gun show? Wa GA Arms there? I didn’t see them @ Fishersville a couple of weeks ago (and they’re almost always there!)

No, I haven't been to a gun show since the Hillsville flea market in 2023. I didn't make it to the flea market last year due to recovering from the Chinese flu.

I just checked the Georgia Arms website, and they have .32-20 ammo for sale. $42 for 50 rounds isn't cheap, but better than I have seen for other ammo.

I have shot GA's ammo and still have some in different calibers. It's good stuff.

I have no connection to Georgia Arms.

A full case of Winchester 100 gr just went by on GB, I lost out at the end, it went for $556...I had people lined up for a box if I won, just didn't feel like getting into a XXXXXXX match.

32-20 Lead

I currently own 8 S&W 32-20s which requires my attention to detail via reloading. Don't forget Georgia Arms sells cast bullets and I bought 500 a few weeks back when they had a sale going. I like their 98gr for my revolvers and Winchesters. They are usually at the gun shows in the Florida panhandle, however haven't been to one in over a year.

AMMO ASAP has 32-20 cowboy loads for less than that.

Not after 10% off plus free shipping which is what I got it for at Georgia Arms. I haven’t signed up with Ammo ASAP to check their shipping charges but I’d imagine it’s $14 and up.
