The owner of a golf course in Georgia was confused about paying an invoice, so he decided to ask his secretary for some mathematical help.
He called her into his office and said, "Y'all graduated from the University of Georgia and I need some help.. If I wuz to give yew $20,000, minus 14%, how much would you take off?"
The secretary thought a moment, and then replied, "Everthang but my earrings."

Contrary to rumors, if you drive through Athens with your window down UGA does not throw a diploma in your car. You at least have to stop.

That's why you date Georgia girls, and marry an Auburn girl... :D

Let me step in at this point and say a word in defense of those UGA girls.:D

My wife was the "Outstanding Scholar-Athlete of the Year (Female)" at UGA in 1976. There is a big granite monument between Stegeman Coliseum and the practice football field with the names of those folks who have won that award over the years. I don't know if it is still there, but up until three or four years ago, she was listed in the top 10 single game scoring records in the UGA Lady Bulldogs Media Guide. I think she scored 35 points in a game.

She is in her 36th year as a teacher, about the last 25 in technology. She is Director of the Education Technology Center that trains teachers in about 16 counties in SW Georgia. I think she has at least one Auburn grad on her staff.;)

Besides all that, she has been a wonderful wife and mama. She can even drive a tractor.

Would that have been a Ms. Fuller in 76? Very neat.

I wonder if that secretary would drive a tractor in just her ear-rangs? :D

Before ya'll git the wrong idea, I live 8 miles from Sanford Stadium, and my wife is a "triple dawg", with her Bachelors, Masters and PhD from UGA (her earrings are another discussion:))...my stepson graduated from there...
