Ford Edge, comments, opinions and advise welcomed

I just bought this 2008 Ford Edge Limited from the company I work for, it was the sales manager's car. 116,000 miles, clean as a pin on the inside with all bells and whistles like moon roof, back up camera and Sync. All maintenance invoices in the glovebox. I got it for about $1000 under KBB maybe because I pointed out some minor hail damage and it's still on it's original brakes.

Seems like I'm really loving this ride, enough here lately to where my 2005 GT Mustang is getting concerned. Any comments or things I need to know so I can put another 116,000 on it will be appreciated.

Sheepdawg, Outside of my Mustangs the Edge is a great vehicle. I drive for a Ford dealer on my days off and have driven many Edges. Since the maintenance has been kept up you should have no problem going over 200k miles. Enjoy your new ride.

O2 sensors fail a bunch, but not to much $$$$ to fix

Take care of it, use it but don't abuse it. You should be fine...

Most cars today are fairly well made and last a long time with almost no maintenance. Some show their strengths or weaknesses if used in specific ways but as a daily car it should be good to go
