Anyone here with a vehicle that has the Ford Pass Connect system?

With all the passive loads due to the crazy electronics the new cars and trucks go thRu batteries fast!
We put a harbor freight “smart charger” under the hood and keep the thing plugged in when parked at home. Sorta like we used to do in minnesota winters, but for the battery instead of a heater lol.

That wasn't the case with either one of my vehicles.
We live in Texas. Easy on the battery life for most cars and trucks.

Both were bought within a couple of months of each other and now they are over five years old, each.
My trip to Minnesota in February was a 'must have' situation. You don't go to MN in February with a 5 year old battery.
My wife's car, same situation. She had to travel to Missouri January 1st and was going to be gone three weeks. Again, to damn cold in Missouri to take a chance with a five year old battery.
We both have brand new Ford batteries and I put a full set of tires on BOTH vehicles.
Nope, didn't buy any new guns. Ha.
