Gotta say I am more than impressed, IMO they hit a Home Run with the styling. This aint even close to your grandpaw's Country Squire.
Now one trend that I'm seeing in all the new cars being shown is that all of them are loaded up with lots and lots of electronic gewgaws. That is something I don't like at all, once these cars hit about 10 years old they'll turn into a real maintenance nightmare, because every resistor or capacititor that fails will end up with another error code being set. Next time you look at that gee whiz touch screen display that controls the radio, heat, lights and everything else think about how long your last TV set lasted, that is about how long that touch screen will last.
Frankly, I miss the days when a tuneup meant putting in some new spark plugs and a new set of breaker points. Yeah, I'm old, however I remember being able to keep a 30 or 40 year old car running good by replacing just a few simple and basic parts.
