They have little to worry about. We, you and me and our families will be facing situations that we have never envisioned. The violent protesters, rioters and anarchists are well organized, well funded and have a plan. WE HAVE NON OF THE ABOVE. Add to that the wholesale reluctance and failure to prosecute the few that are arrested and that should give us a view into what the future holds.
The OKC police did arrest some that were causing property damage by breaking windows, looting and burning. The DA filed some serious charges and required cash bail money. The last that I read BLM had come up with over three million dollars cash and all but one was out of jail.We have had no more large demonstrations or any property damage. The DA has been vilified by BLM supporters and the ACLU.
That has not been the case in most places. They are turned loose to riot, burn and destroy again. They will continue until the form of law and government that we have experienced all of our lives no longer exists unless something changes.
Do you have any answers. I do but I hope that it does not come to that.

I believe we will continue to see the rioting and looting for another 12-18 months .... Maybe longer. Think about this, there is no downside to this type of behavior so what is the motivation to stop?

When the appropriate Federal agencies label BLM and antifa along with other groups as domestic terrorist organizations, then there's a chance something can be done but if your city or state is going to be stuck trying to fix this mess, then we are all in a very difficult situation.

I agree with you. I don't see any possible improvement in things until at least a year or so and possibly never truly ending at all.

It will get worse in November. But then it will eventually slow down... either they stop on their own or the silent majority wakes up. Once that happens it will be quiet very quick! Enough is enough! So called leadership has failed their departments, their cities, their State. Once election time for those individuals comes up WE the People will clean house! I think the majority of Americans (80%+) is tired and fed up of what's going on!

I can't really imagine anything improving after the election. The pandemic and BoweLMovement(BLM) is going nowhere anytime soon, possibly years. Then if Biden is elected the run on anything guns: firearms, ammo, magazines will make today look like these are days of plenty. Trump reelected I would predict things to continue bad for months whether you call it protests or riots.

As our nation survived previous periods of civil unrest, so shall we get past this one.
I happened to be in Los Angeles during the trial after the police beating of Rodney King spurred riots, and in five days 63 people were killed and over a billion dollars of damage occurred in the mayhem.
It's been two months of protests since the George Floyd death instigated the latest unrest, and 30 have died from it and an estimated 500 million dollars of damage has been done.
So in LA they had twice as much death and damage in their 6 days of protests in 1992, as the whole nation has had in 60 days of protests this year.
Not to minimize your concern, but if things get bad enough, the National Guard will end it the same way they did in LA 28 years ago, and for so many other riots before that.
One thing to keep in mind is that fear for these events, distracts from the thousand Americans that are dying every day from Covid19 and the trillions of dollars in damage it is doing to the economy. That is the far bigger problem which we all have the power to put a stop to right now, if only .....

* Organized rioting, looting, and violence in cities across the nations

* Police are apparently prohibited from defending themselves

* City leadership is complicit by encouraging the riots and prohibiting law enforcement from taking action.

* Media supports them by covering up the violent criminal acts and labels them as peaceful protestors. Those who try to defend themselves or tell it like it is are condemned and vilified.

It feels like this is being orchestrated by and we under attack by evil.

There is a lot of difference between fear and concern. I fully agree the Virus could be stopped if everyone would wear a mask for the period of time required.

It’s all about political power and control. IMO, the anarchists/marxists have two goals...

1) They want to use violence and disinformation as a negotiating tool to get a seat at the political table that they couldn’t get through the vote.

2) The rioting is a “shot across the bow” to regular citizens of what to expect if the vote doesn’t go their way in the fall.

Not trying to be melodramatic, but isn’t that the same strategy the marxists succeeded with in South Vietnam and South Africa. Not saying they’ll be successful here, but seems like the same approach.

This is nothing less than a coup d'état by other means. I don't intend this to be construed as being political, since most of the enablers are nothing more than "useful idiots".

The protests, rioting, and total anarchy are tools to accomplish several things:

1) Cause chaos.
2) Destroy the economy
3) Serve as a form of "heckler's veto".

The first two are self-explanatory, but the 3rd needs some explanation. The desire is to convince potential voters that a win by the wrong party will lead to more of the same when it comes to violent riots. Hopefully this will back-fire, and those who want to keep their country will turn out at the polls en masse, but these radicals want people to think that the wrong election result will make things worse and suppress the vote.

I truly think that we are seeing a fight for civilization here. Unfortunately, we have no Churchill who 1) sees the threat, and 2) is willing to make the sacrifices necessary to win the fight.

I also believe in God's providence, and that He controls all things great and small. No nation can prosper without His blessing, and no nation can endure if He chooses to withhold it. I truly believe that our leadership vacuum is a judgment from Him, but to say more would put me in trouble (if I am not already).

Man!! I love your enthusiasm.

Unfortunately, I do not share it.
Election after election, cycle after cycle we elect the same people or the same kind of people. Party affiliation does not matter.
I do not see enough change from election to election to make me feel like I accomplished a thing by voting. I still do every election, but it is more sense of duty than believing I am actually changing or improving a thing.

I think it would make a big difference if We The People would/could be successful in boycotting the companies that gave 1.4 billion dollars to the BLM movement. There are a lot of everyday products involved and it's unbelievable who/what they are. From pro sports down to toilet paper they are all involved. We are trying to do our part.

The McCloskeys are being targeted by a prosecutor with an agenda. But there's the old saying, a prosecutor could indict a ham sandwich.
The Rodney King riots were halted by the Post Office. I recall a news story which quoted a local resident saying "Everybody heah livin' on checks!" The PO halted door to door deliveries, those freeloaders had to go to the PO-at the hours the PO set-to get their handouts, they dealt with PO employees being watched over by Postal Inspectors and Federal Marshals in full riot gear with locked and loaded M-16s...how much effort would it take to block EBTs ?
When those cities find they cannot get Federal aid for repair and rebuilding, when insurance companies refuse to pay, when suburban and rural voters balk at tax levies...
Yes, the companies that support these looters and arsonists, the advertisers and sponsors of the NFL, MLB, anyone else who disrespects our country, our flag, our traditions and values need to feel it in the bottom line.

I believe in God.

It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes.

Psalm 118:9.

I don’t know my bible verses very well, but I always remember that one when I get frustrated over the lack of real leadership that’s plagued us for so long.

To answer this with meaningful truths would get me banned (or at least nicked heavily) so all I will say is America is in DEEP dodo and it seems like half the powers that be want it that way for a means to the end.
