Worth the $

It is a shame these wonderful machines are priced so high as to make cheaper single stage presses the preference for most hobbyists. I would never go back to a "C" or "O" press unless I had no alternative. Forster's high price and comparatively low sales volume might one day make that happen, but mine will suffice to the end of my reloading career.

My first one was back when they were Bonanza. It went away during a divorce, but a Forster came to live with me 2 years ago.
Just a wonderful press.

I've been using a co-ax press for 10+ years and love it. I have a run out gauge and the Forester turns out more concentric cartridges than any O press I have.

I had my first Co-Ax by 1980. For priming on top it uses shell holders that, except for having a larger hole through the center, are identical to RCBS's. I picked up a second one with the modern "universal" sliding side shell holder but only because it was $25 out the door. A local gun store that sells a lot of used reloading tools did not know it was a reloading tool.

I bought my first Co-Ax as a step up from a Rock Chucker. It is primarily for bottle neck rifle cases. For loading pistol cartridges faster than a single stage I had a C-H press. It moved 4 RCBS type shell holders up and down between two pillars. C-H's deluxe carbide die sets came with 4 shell holders. While the H press is long gone the Co-Ax is still unequaled.

I'm glad you posted that.

I checked the link, and saw a press that looks like the one I inherited from my Dad. (Not set up... yeah, I know... not cool.) My first reaction was confusion, since mine isn't a Forster, but a Bonanza.

You cleared that up for me... thanks.
