The other day I decided to take my "box o' holsters" out of the closet and go through it. I rediscovered this S&W holster in its original packaging. My son, who manages a local gun store, found it while they were doing inventory and gave it to me a few years ago. It's a holster specifically made for the 1984 Lew Horton Special Edition 2-1/2" 686 DCM (PC 104212). I believe that the black leather holsters were included with the revolvers when originally purchased. How it got separated from the revolver, who knows? This holster is in great condition, and appears to have been only slightly used. Is there a market out there for this holster, and what would be its approx. value? I have no real need for it, but perhaps someone with a LH Special Edition or other 2-1/2" 686 revolver, or a collector, might want one. I have no problem parting with this holster, so I will probably post it here on the Forum's WTS section if it makes sense. Any thoughts?
