Found my 27-2

Finally found a 27-2 with 5" barrel - 1974 to 75 vintage.

S&W forum member (ColbyBruce) told me about a group of S&W N frames on consignment at Tucker Gun Shop, Tucker , GA.

Very happy with this latest find.

I found my 27-2, 5" locally a couple of weeks ago. I wanted a shooter so mine is not nearly as pretty, was a lot cheaper, but has a very smooth action. We both won!

Very smooth transaction. The 27-2 was accurately described as unfired with no box, papers, tools. $995 out the door (shipping included).
I think a fair price for this variation and vintage.

Very nice catch. My own view, is that the 5" is the best balanced of the Model 27's.
