Found my K-22

I've been looking for a K-22 shooter for some time, but it seems the demand and prices for these old .22s are going crazy. Saw a couple of really nice K-22s in the box for $1100 and up at a recent Central Florida gun show, and one or two worn and rusty relics for $500. I was getting discouraged again, but then stumbled onto this one. This old beauty is ca. 1948, and is a real tack driver. She's definitely been shot and handled over the years (bluing is ~85-90% and the stocks have a little wear), but for $500 I think I did OK. Just had to clean her up a little, and now she functions like a Swiss watch (well, almost). I've already put a brick or two of .22LR down range, and am very happy with this revolver. What a hoot to shoot!

I had a 1-liner I had to sell, Now I have a 48 with a .22 lr cylinder only. Am not hunting hard for a .22Mag cylinder, but got my eyes open. I love to shoot it. VERY accurate. Looks like you got a deal on a sweet gun. ENJOY!!

Those old K's are incredible shooters. There is nothing on earth that will give that much enjoyment for 500 bucks. Well...other than...I mean...Oh, never mind.

Years ago a buddy and me ran across a K-22. He beat me at it. I got the Tauras equivalent. Saved a $100 bucks and it shoots better than the K-22.

My wife wanted to get into shooting with me after 38 years of being married. I found her a used but new looking taurus model 94 thats a 9 shot with a 4" barrel. She loves it and shoots it double action too after she took the ccw course.

Yes Big Bill, I wanted to get something that my wife would be comfortable shooting, too. She's tried my .45s and .357s, but they're too much kick for her to enjoy. And she won't go near the .44s. The .38 Spl. is OK...but the .22 is perfect for a day at the range. Just plain fun, and cheap (after the initial purchase of the revovler, of course!).

i think you stole it!, nice gun!, i bought a 1948 just like it 2 years ago in not as good a shape for $650. nice find!
