I've been reading these forums for years but never registered until just now. I finally did so because I've exhausted every source I know of looking for what I thought would be a simple item.
I need a "Grip Cap" for the original black synthetic stock on an iBolt .30-06
I have called S&W customer service, LSG Manufacturing and Numrich (I've ordered 3 from Numrich for various Mossberg and Weatherby rifles that looked close enough to work). To be clear, I have the grip cap emblem and screw. I only need the grip cap which is the small oval plastic cap that mounts to the bottom of the rifle grip with a single screw and to which the grip emblem is attached. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I know I could swap on a Remington 700 aftermarket stock, but would really rather keep it all Smith. Thanks in advance.
