Found some interesting grips.. K or N frame? ( pics)

At last week's show, I was digging through a box of grips and came across a pair that were a little different.

I tried them on one of my K-frames but it looks like the grips are just a little too big and might be for an N-frame. I'll have to borrow someone's
N-frame later this week and try them out.

Does anyone know what the "hump" is on the back strap area? Targets?
They remind me of the early Bekeart or single shot target grips.

When you put one side on how does the conture fit the frame? I know you can take pics so show me.

I'm guessing they're targets, too! The price was right, I only paid $10 for them. And the best part is the initials are perfect!

I think these grips are going to turn out to be a very expensive venture!

At least I already have the holster... a nice Hunter floral carved one. I think it takes a 3" N-frame. Just don't have anything to put in it.

Michael is correct, they are for an N frame. If and when you decide to put them on an N framed gun be gentle and don't force them. As these were probably fit to a specific gun they might need some adjustment.

The diamond inlays look like ebony or maybe bufalo horn. What material are the initials made of?

Who ever made these did a fine job of combining factory and custom touches. Just enough wear to be authentic for a target sighted pre-war!
