Just purchased an FPC and want to mount iron flip up sights. Looking at Troy tritium m4 top mount sights. I am thinking they would be ok as far as height...no different than others on the market. Any thoughts? I am using the carbine as a travel gun and don't want an optic.

I gust got a set of Magpul pop up sights. I have an Athlon Midas on there in between. Everything seems to work just fine.

I started with some takeoff CZ Scorpion lower profile iron's on mine. The problem with them was that they did not have a cross bolt on the front and it flew off on the first range session.

So now it has MagPul flip ups and a Primary Arms 1x red dot on it.

No personal experience, but I've seen positive reviews for Ultradyne C2. May be worth a look.

I added a Hiviz green fiber front sight post to a magpul flip up for a better all around front sight . Its comes with a red fiber you can change to .

I put a set of diamondhead polymer nitbrite sight and a vortex red dot on the rail.

Troy sights are well made and worth their price. I don't happen to be a fan of flip up irons, that takes time you might not have. YMMV.

I put a Romeo5 G2 RD and Magpul Pro iron sights (actually are metal) on my FPC. They work as advertised.
