FPC Quick Range Report

Thanks for the response.
They sure didn't give any confidence to those whose hammer may need fixin' at a very inappropriate time, like what caused it and how to prevent it.
J.
That was normal even when S&W was the gold standard for customer service. I had a couple of new guns I had to send back and they didn’t document what they did, other than “fixed” this or that. I had to call them, and even then, just got speculation about what was done. Their customer service is now terrible, so I doubt they would even do that anymore.

Sorry… that’s just how I see it. I’ve been a Smith & Wesson customer for over 50 years.

This is good information. Got mine a few days ago on an impulse buy. Mounted an MRO and took it to the range for sight-in yesterday. Shot 100 rounds of Magtech 115 FMJ and another 100 rounds of assorted Federal and Winchester JHP loads from 115 to 147 and some +P. Function was flawless and I was surprised by the accuracy at 15 yards. I was using a rest and with slow fire all rounds were touching - just one big ragged hole on the target. Another surprise was the recoil. It was more than I expected. In rapid fire, took some concentration to deliver reasonable groups on target — still good enough for defensive use.

The FPC is just a neat package. It will see some truck duty and unfolded will rest against the wall between bed and nightstand on occasion. I will borrow the suppressor from my MPX and add a light for indoor work.
