That was normal even when S&W was the gold standard for customer service. I had a couple of new guns I had to send back and they didn’t document what they did, other than “fixed” this or that. I had to call them, and even then, just got speculation about what was done. Their customer service is now terrible, so I doubt they would even do that anymore.Thanks for the response.
They sure didn't give any confidence to those whose hammer may need fixin' at a very inappropriate time, like what caused it and how to prevent it.
