Attached are two pictures showing markings on the frame of my Model 66-1. In the picture 2321a the number 39574 I believe is the shop assembly number as it is also on the yoke and the last two numbers are on the handles. But what do the other stampings stand for?

The S likely indicates stainless, so it is not polished like a carbon steel gun.

The others are assembler, fitter or inspector stamps. With limited exceptions, no one is sure which is which.

Yes, and inside the side plate (if you were to take it off).
and the last two numbers are on the handles.
Confused.

Besides the S (stainless), either C7 or C11 should also be on the yoke with the assembly number.

:) My belief is that the ones on the left side of the grip frame (during this time frame) are fitter stamps and the two characters in shapes on the right side are inspector stamps.
The 07438 is the part number of the frame.
