Has Midway fixed the way they package ammo?
The last time I ordered some ammo from them it was a few boxes of something I wanted to try before I bought in bulk. They threw the ammo into a big box with some heavy items and some plastic air filled bags and by the time it got to me the plastic ammo boxes were crushed with a bunch of loose rounds scattered all over the box. That was not the first time I had that happen and a couple of my friends have had similar experiences when they tried ordering ammo from Midway.
In contrast when you order a few boxes from sgammp they use plastic wrap to hold everything together and use enough padding to prevent damage. My orders from SG always arrive in good condition. SG typically has better prices too but free shipping from Midway might change that.
Midway is the sort of company that values customer support so they might have responded to criticism and fixed this issue. But unless it is a factory packed case of ammo with nothing else in the order I am not buying ammo from them until I know this is no longer an issue.
BTW, thanks for fee shipping code. While I may not buy ammo from them I do buy other stuff. And I would hate for people to hesitate posting about deals because I went on a rant.

The “ammo packaging” issue plagues numerous online sellers. I once received several buckets of 9mm ammo from Academy. They were just loose in a large carton. The buckets had opened, ammo rattling around. The carton eventually split open and I watched video of the FedEx guy carrying the carton to my door with rounds sprinkling out onto my walkway and lawn. 
MidwayUSA has been offering free shipping on order over $49.00 almost every other week for the pass few months. Free shipping plus thier weekly sale is a good deal. I’ve been loading up on ammo, reloading supplies and general shooting gear.
