CCI ammo used in S&W revolvers
I was just told by a S&W customer service rep. that I could not shoot CCI ammo in my Model 18-7 combat masterpiece (What a joke this gun is) revolver chambered in 22LR because S&W's 22lr revolvers are not made to shoot high power ammo. In my gun after you shoot 4 or 5 rounds the gun freezes up. Cannot open cylinder can't pull trigger or move hammer. After you hit it with a rubber mallet a few times (this was performed by a gunsmith at pistol range) it will unlock and you can shoot maybe two more rounds and do it again. So I am looking for some REAL LOW POWER 22 ammo to target practice with. I have had two dealers tell me this info is a bunch of bull but a Customer Service Rep at S&W called me at home and told me this tale. Good luck with your 22 cal revolvers from S&W
