Thank you all for the info. I am enjoying this pistol. I have been processing brass and just got a big stash of 158 grain cast bullets to load. Not sure if anyone saw where I mentioned finding the CPD stamped under the stocks on the bottom left side? Maybe Cleveland P.D.?

Could be. But my CPD revolver and others I've seen, the monogram is on the frame in plain sight. You say yours is "under the stocks," does that mean it is on the grip frame? Odd.

Yes- on the grip frame on the bottom left front side about where the tip of your pinky finger would wrap around if it was long enough.
