I've never seen a February like this one, I have absolutely no snow in my yard, including on the North side of my shop where snow will often stay til June. I have seen an odd January where there was no ice on lakes and went fishing with my brother sitting on sun warmed rocks and open water, but it still snowed later, etc. February was always the month I was ready to quit my bus driving job, our nights have been above freezing for over a week, saw 49 degrees the other day. All next week the high is over 40, lows will dip into the high 20's....crazzzy Last month we were in the deep freeze, below zero.

We had a week of 60° weather then it rained all of Friday night followed by 6” of wet cement on Saturday! April is early this year lol

The Weather Woman said we had some showers this AM. It rained for four hours solid at my house. Some shower. Just checked out the radar and more is on the way, both here and at Nevada Ed's location. All kinds of flood warnings for the LA area.

Well, LA always waters their lawns and lets the water run over the cement curbes, 5 days a week. and does not give a hoot about us, in the North, that needs the water for our fruit trees and vegtables, in the ground.........................
and don't mind draining, lake Mead !!

pay back is a Bitxx !

We were forecast to have a wet winter here in SE Texas in the farmer's Almanac. Got pretty much nothing until about 10 days ago. We have had 9.25 inches in those 10 days. Mid 60's and 70's for highs this week. Couple days in the 40's and then 50's for lows. Winter in Texas, just 2 or 3 weeks ago it was in the teens. The trees are starting to bud because they think it is Spring already.

I think snow is pretty as long as it's somewhere else. Around here it causes mass panic. People empty the grocery stores, school is canceled, and everyone slides off overpasses or winds up upside down in the ditch. Then it's all gone by noon.

Thankfully, no snow is expected. It's supposed to be in the 60s all week.
