Here's a thread form last month. you can also search and find more. Some rave about it some don't. Best is try it and make your own decision.

Developed by the teams.....some people swear by it (including one of my buddies who trains with them), some people say it attracts too much dirt and causes sludge and malfunctions. Still can't beat CLP and slip 2000 IMO.
Most of the old guns that are still in service today didn't have the latest and greatest exotic lubricant. They got a few drops of 3 in 1 or sewing machine oil, just whatever was handy. Of course, back then companies didn't spend millions on marketing and advertising like they do now.

Tried some and found that it wasn't any better than Ballistol, which I love. I'm still using Ballistol.

The major benefit of Frog Lube is that it doesn't attract dirt. I live in a very dusty area so, this feature is great for me. Used properly it works great. Problem is, most don't use it correctly.

While I like Frog lube on my pistols, I have found that with ANY gun which sees high volume shooting, it holds onto the powder residue and it cakes up. My S&W 9504 can run junk ammo for days with it and no real cleaning, but it gets filthy dirty. With any light oil, there is much less carbon buildup.
In my AR, if I do a training course the rifle will go thru 600 or so rounds for the day. With Frog lube, it looks like I rolled it around in charcoal in the chamber, and the BCG has a lot of build up, even in the rings and the trigger assy gets pretty dirty.
Still functions; that is not a battle cry I can make. But it gets DIRTY; much dirtier than with Mobil1, Slip, CLP, RemOil, etc.
The green stuff makes a grumpy feeling 1911 smooth as silk..... so it DOES have it's place, to be fair.

Used it and had no real complaints but I went back to G96.

I think therein lies a lot of the problem. There's a process to it in order to use it correctly that a lot of just as good products don't have.
With mine, I simply spray, clean, and wipe. Not much of a process for an equally as good a product. Granted, FL does smell good

One advantage of Frog Lube, I have heard if you don't like it as a lubricant, it can double as a salad dressing . That said, I am sticking with Mobile One cut with ATF. It works fine and is inexpensive.

I've been using it for a year in my handguns (.22 through .45) without any issues.
Will switch the rifles to it when I run out of hoppes no 9 for cleaning and rem oil for lube.
I run my guns pretty dry either way. The frog lube so far has made cleaning easier and faster and my office doesn't smell like I just rebuilt a transmission when I am done.

I completely agree. People want the quickest method. What most don't realize is that if you take the time initially with Frog Lube, it makes clean up much easier later. There is actually another problem with Frog Lube. Using it flies in the face of traditional lubrication. Once applied, the excess must be completely wiped off. It feels like all the lube is being removed. For those that work on the premise, "It'll run dirty but it won't run dry" this is hard to accept. Most of the guys I know don't feel right unless there is lube squeezing out of every orifice.

It has been said by many a wise and experience shooter, that if their isn't oil/lube spraying back on your shooting glasses every time the bolt or slide cycles, than you don't have adequate lubrication. Except for the extreme artic, this is probably true.

(sorry, couldn't resist)If any of you want to run lube free, try a NiBx treated BCG. It unnerved the heck out of me running it dry the first time, but I got over it. Cleanup is a wipe down with a lightly solvent moistened rag.

Every bit of lube that is squeezed out is useless and wasted. All of that oil flying back in your face only contributes to distracting the shooter. None of it helped in lubricating the gun.
I feel the rabbit hole opening under my feet.
Most people surmise that their lube is the best, simply because it is what they happen to be using and want desperately to be right. As hard as it is to believe, there are several products that work sufficiently.....including froglube.

Generally speaking, I'd agree with you. I take the stance that Germans have been making Ballistol for 110 years so I'm good with that
I switched over to Frog lube on all my weapons (M&P15, FS9, shield, M&P22) a little over a year ago. I've been very happy with it and will continue to use it.
The only thing I've lost since changing from using Hoppe's...is the battle with the wife and her nail polish remover...she wins every time now.

I have been using Mobile One-ATF mix for years and have had not problems whatsoever. My backup for it, is another great lubricant, namely Ballistol. Ballistol has been providing superior lubrication for firearms, including full auto ones for over a century.

Switched over to FL two months ago and like it. I'm sure there are negative experiences but I use it in my M&P 15T, SKS 59/66, 2 870s, Security Six and a pyrotechnic launcher at work. Nothing but positives for this user. I prefer the paste but the liquid is good too for when the weapon is cold. I did follow all of their instructions, stripped all previous lube out with their solvent, warmed components with a space heater or hair dryer and applied. I think it's more about finding a product you're comfortable using and if you have had nothing but success with Hoppes, Mobil 1, RemOil, CLP, or whatever and your firearms stay clean, rust free and fully functional there's no rush to switch.

Don't expect FrogLube to protect your expensive firearm from rusting, I did and it rusted. I was able to clean it up, back to CLP, never had a problem with CLP.

Not saying anything is perfect but there are lots of comparisons online if you do some searching - such as this one - Video: Froglube, M-Pro 7, Rand CLP Corrosion Test | The Truth About Guns - often using brake rotors left out in the rain, as in this example, where Frog Lube performs very well by comparison and comparisons such as that are part of why I chose to give it a try.

I think that same guy did the same test but with a couple of different products one of which was a WD40 brand product. It wasn't the regular version though but it too did pretty well if I remember right. But I learned long ago the hard way that WD40 will work well enough when wet but once it dries it leaves a residue that will build up in a gun until it glues it shut.

These comparisons such as brake rotors are only being subjected to moisture, salt water, etc. Shooting and handling your handgun in 80/90deg heat, sweat,acid,and who knows what else can't be compared to the test done on a brake rotor. I used FrogLube and had rust, I use CLP no rust. That's the best test for me.

I bought some Froglube about a year ago and still haven't tired it on my Sport, 15-22 or my carry guns. Having too much success with M-Pro7 LPX.

I've used FL on all my handguns & my M&P Sport for almost 2 years now & have had zero problems with it. Every time I've come across people that say they tried it and didn't like, I found out that they just didn't follow the instructions, like cleaning it throughly first(like getting the old lubricant, carbon & **** off 1st) then warming the metal parts up sufficiently before applying FL & letting it sit for about an hour before wiping it clean. Most just put it on and wipe it off saying that since it's a cleaner, they don't see the point with the rest. Well, that's not how it's designed to be applied or used and it is recommended that it take about 3 applications for it to be a completed job.
And that my friend is one battle that you will never win...
