Got a nice 1905 modified with adj sights in 32/20. Front sight had been cut off and slotted for blade at .060". I shot gun and found it has to much daylight for my eyes. It needed repaired anyway from shipping. As usual my mega pile of junk doesn't contain a piece of stock to easily make a new sight. Decided to use an old brass key, that goes .105". Got it rough fitted to base slot and rough shaped. It has to be high but making it a little more holster friendly. It's going to finish out .100" which is nice for back sight notch. Haven't decided yet but might make a McGivern bead.
