I just purchased a lightly used 586 L-comp and the tritium front sight might as well be a straight black blade. I'd like to replace it with something I can see. It's a pinned type and appears to use a rounded head type of pin. I'm wondering the correct size punch and drill bit I'd need to R&R the pin and drill the new sight blade. I read on another thread the correct drill bit is .055 #54. If that is the correct size would I want the .05 punch? I notice Brownells also sells a .057.

I've also read the some PC revolvers use custom front sight setups. How would I tell what the correct size is as far as a replacement goes?
