What type of set up do you guys use for drilling out front sights? Is a cross vise and padded jaws on a drill press good enough, or will I still have trouble supporting the barrel? Just ordered a new drill press and would like to get most of what I think I will need.

I insert the new sight into the slot tightly, then using a scrib mark the spot. Then remove the sight and put it in the drill vice and using the drill press drill the hole. Re-insert the sight in the slot and drive in the pin.
