Hi,
Several years back I sold 6 handguns on the site and can provide references if you need them, all transactions went perfectly. This was a "Family Gun" so I know the history of it, the Mod 28 was a "Nightstand" gun with what I would guess as having had probably less than a box of shells through it. I think it may have taken hiking a few times but other than that it lived a very pampered life in a nightstand drawer since bought new in 1974 as photos show. 1st "I will take it" posting followed by PM's will secure gun for you. Ruger Bearcat .22 Magnum!
Here is a great shooting, beautifully tuned and re-chambered .22 WMR Bearcat by 10-Ring precision, (Alex Hamilton is a Guild pistolsmith and a true artisan with these little revolvers). It shoots and carries wonderfully, I simply need the money for a newer project, less than 4 boxes of shells fired since brand new. Comes with holster, hatchet and knife set, original Ruger plastic box and old removed parts from action job. Here is a vintage Springfield M6 "Survival Gun" in .22 LR & .410 Shotgun
A great little combo that is rare in this marking and configuration. Taken fishing a few times and stowed under the front seat of my pickup for years. Excellent condition, I simply don't use it much and its becoming collectible so I am changing out my "Truck Gun" with something less for something valuable. $500.00
I also have a Ruger Hawkeye Compact rifle in .243 Winchester, as brand new (Fired 4 times and person said it was "Too Loud" so I ended up with it and 16 rounds of ammo for $550.00 at the range. A great deal and I simply want to sell it for what I have in it. Its been in the safe too long and I need some "Man Funds"
Comes with Ruger Rings, manual, just no box. A Beautiful little rifle in an awesome caliber, $600.00 Shipped.
I also have a vintage "Like New" Interarms Mauser 24" barreled action in 30-06 and an accompanying "High Tech Specialties" composite stock that needs the action bedded to (Its inletted 98%) so it drops right in now. This would make a beautiful hunting rifle in its current caliber or open it up to 30-06 AI or a simple rebarrel to .35 Whelen for a Elk slayer should you feel under-gunned with an 06, smile....Barreled Action and Stock for $500.00.
FUNDS: While I prefer a USPS Money Order, they are traceable and refundable to you if lost. A Money order or a cashiers check will insure your gun goes out the day after I receive payment.
Honor & Character: I do what I say and say what I do when it comes to this type of thing, I hope you will too! I will gladly accept your personal check but because of one bad apple I will have to wait for it to clear before shipping the gun, this normally is only 2 days.
Shipping, FFL, ETC:
Shipping is a flat $40.00 for handgun or rifle. This seems to be a fair "Blanket Price" given history of shipping all over the nation. I also ask that your FFL send me a copy of his license containing the business address I will ship to. This is the ONLY way I will do business, legally per FFL rules and regs. An EMail copy of the receiving FFL's license is fine according to the BATFE, We want to stay out of prison right? A "Friend to Friend" with anyone in Arkansas is quite fine and legal for handguns and rifles should you live nearby.
Happiness & "The Deal" :
I will give you a three day inspection period where I will take the gun back should you find it not as advertised, I have NEVER had one returned, most times I get the comment that it was better than described, I operate as a gentleman and observe the Golden Rule, I only ask for the same courtesy in return. If you are looking for "Perfection" , "Museum quality pieces" you will find the items as shown in the photos I will however be glad to answer any specific questions I am able to.

You can search this forum and see all the pistols and rifles I have sold here, albeit a few years ago...They all were conducted perfectly, without any glitches or problems. Just so you know, this is not a commercial venture, just some personal items that need to fund other fun "Man-Stuff".

I live nearly 30 miles from the shipping center so it may be the day after I get your payment that your gun ships, I WILL however keep you informed via phone, text or email as to the status of your purchase I have since retired from Yale and now live in Northwest Arkansas (Profile still shows I live in Connecticut).
Trades: Right now the only thing I am interested in trading for is a .460 Rowland kit for a 1911 or a Marlin 39 lever action .22 rifle or a K-22 Handgun in VGC condition. This may change if things do not sell right away. Try me.
