This one is as new in the box and is a S&W Model 36 no dash Chief Special, 2" pinned barrel, round butt, blued finish, .38 Special revolver. Other than a very faint turn line, this revolver is unupgradeable. It is all matching including the original numbered stocks and comes in the original numbered box which is also in excellent condition with the manual. The serial number of 3J614 dates this revolver to 1971-1972. The price is $575 shipped and must go to an FFL unless meeting FTF in the North Dallas area. I prefer PayPal discrete gift payments but also take USPS Money Orders (and of course cash if meeting locally).
The Model 36 was sold locally.
