A friend bought two S&W revolvers - a 629-3 and a 686-3, both Classic Hunters - from a relative's estate that had scopes mounted using the factory drilled and tapped holes. I obtained original rear sights for the guns for him and sold the scopes earlier but he no longer wants the mountings either.
The one with two rings came off the L-frame and the one with three rings came off the N-frame but the hole spacings look the same to me. I honestly do not think either gun was ever fired and the mountings are as like-new as they come. All the mounting screws are in their holes, secured with tape or under a ring.
I could only find new ones on eBay and blued bases alone sell for $30 and up - I will sell these stainless steel ones complete with rings for $50 each plus $8 shipping for one or both.
Please post the obligatory "I'll take it" and send me a P.M. in accordance with Forum rules. Accepted payment can be by PayPal F&F or USPS Money Order.
Thanks for looking.
