WITHDRAWN DECEMBER 24, 2012 - For sale is my Remington 700 Police in .308 Win. with a Leupold Long Range Tactical scope. I purchased the rifle and scope new in the mid 1990s. It has been shot approximately 100 rounds and remains in excellent (+/- 97%) condition.
I'm not looking to ship the rifle at this time. I am willing to drive a reasonable distance from my home in Florence to meet a serious buyer FTF here in SC. If there is not any serious interest in a FTF deal in SC after a few days, I may consider shipping at the buyer's expense.
The Remington product code for the rifle is 25709. It has a 26" heavy barrel, synthetic stock and matte finish. The action is just as it was when it left the factory. It has not been modified in any way. The original box and papers are included. There are a few very minor handling marks.
The Leupold product code for the scope is 51604. It is variable power (4.5 - 14X) and has a50mm objective. It has a 30mm tube, target knobs, and a side focus knob. It has a duplex recticle. It comes with Butler Creek flip-up caps. This is from Leupold's Vari-X-III Long Range Tactical line of scopes. The scope is mounted on the rifle with Leupold Dual Dovetail bases and rings. The original box and papers for the scope are also included.
The Harris bipod in the photo is included.
The sale price is $1,350.00. The buyer must have state issued picture ID (DL or CWP) and must be willing to sign a bill of sale. Payment must be cash or USPS money order. First "I'll take it" followed by a PM or e-mail gets it.
While I am not looking for any particular trades, I'll gladly consider partial trades on pre-lock S&W revolvers and / or Third Generation pistols in 45 ACP or 10mm.
