I have for sale a very nice 1911a1 semi auto made by Remington Rand in early 1944. Has the original parked finish and what I believe to be all original parts, including the HS (High Standard) barrel. This is not a mint desk-queen and does show normal wear and tear, but is a nice solid gun. Lock up and action is tight. Nice original Keyes grips. Matching "P" proofs and no rebuild marks. Likely a vet bring back that got stuck away for the past 80 years. When I got it, it was covered in grease and honestly, I just have not had the time to give it a deep cleaning (you can see what I am talking about in some of the pix - especially around the barrel lug). Barrel has strong rifling and just needs to a bore brush through it to clean out the dust/grease bunnies. If you want a minty showpiece gun, then this is probably not for you. If you want a nice solid, honest WWII Remington Rand then check it out. I have tried to take enough photos to give you an idea of the exact gun and condition that you will receive, but let me know if you have any questions or need additional pix. Asking $1,735 shipped anywhere in the lower 48. Will be shipping FedEx 3 day and if you want any other shipping method or signature required, that will be extra. Must ship from my C&R to your C&R/FFL.

I will offer a 3 day inspection but the item has to be returned in the same condition as received. If you mess with it, its yours. Return shipping is on you. My goal would be to have a happy buyer so please ask all questions beforehand to avoid any surprises/disappointments. Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional info/photos.

I can take a credit card payment (add 4% to the total), direct payment through Zelle, MO/certified funds (all ship immediately) or a personal/business check (must clear before shipping). FIrst unqualified "I'll take it" posted here on the forum site gets it. Cross-posted, so the first date/time stamp has first rights.
