For sale is a S&W Model 53-2 Jet in 8 3/8 inch barrel. The gun was sold to me by a friend who said it was unfired. As you can see it appears NIB and is collectors quality. I cannot see any turn marks at all on the cylinder and hopefully the pictures show that. The papers and cleaning tools are still sealed in the plastic bag. The box is in excellent condition. The grips look new with sharp diamonds on the panels. Includes the six original 22 inserts. Even the box and wax paper are like new for a gun that is over 40 years old. You would have to look for a long time to find one in this condition. It's for the serious S&W collector who has high standards in what he collects.
The serial number is 4k488xx which put mfg date 1973....box has correct label at end.$1600 plus $40 shipping. Cashiers check for payment.
