FOR SALE: 4" M28-2 .44 Special Conversion FTF in Indiana ONLY. I have an extremely nice 28-2 that has been converted to .44 Special by a gunsmith who really knew what he was doing. The M/28 cylinder has been rechambered with recessed case heads, a 4" M/24-3 barrel has been fitted so the gun is P&R. None of the original S&W .44 Specials had recessed chambers. In addition this great conversion features TT,TH and WO rear sight. The gun shows little evidence of much firing by the previous owner and I have only fired 50 rounds or so to check function and accuracy, both are spot on. The only blue wear is a light cylinder ring, otherwise she looks like new. It is wearing a set of Pachmyer grips and the barrel is polished blue typical of its 24-3 heritage the remainder of the revolver is brushed blue typical of a Highway Patrolman. The mix of finishes does not detract, I find it kind of unique and appealing. SOLD,PRF Price is $675.00 SOLD,PRF.
