S&W Pre-Model 28 Highway Patrolman 4" .357 CTG., Late 1954-early 1955 per serial number (S 132XXX), 5 screw, all matching numbers on frame, barrel, cylinder, inner extractor star, grips. In my wife’s family for 3 generations, she wants a smaller house gun. NOTE per forum member: "the barrel has been shortened. That is an original 6” gun", I have no knowledge of the details. Nice condition and functional, pictures represent condition well, lite blue wear tip, no rust or erosion, bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. Barrel front sight appears loose when pressed very hard with finger or thumb, moves left or to right. Sold in “as-is” condition. Shipping to your FFL only. CONFIRM your FFL will accept shipment directly from a private individual from Nevada with copy of DL. PM or email any questions. I have a ton of photos, just ask. NO California sale.
