Please post an "I'll take it" if interested in purchasing the revolver. Please email for best response as I don't always have the chance to check IM's. I will be more than happy to send additional pics to anyone interested in the revolver. I have only sold one or two other guns on this forum, with good results, but I have over 40 positives on the AR15.com forum with the same user name.

I can accept USPS money orders and discreet paypal +4%. Please make sure that your FFL can accept the firearm from a non-FFL.

I recently purchased a few guns from a collection as a package and this one is the one that does not interest me.

For sale is an S&W model 36 (no dash) nickel plated 5-shot revolver. Caliber is .38 special. Barrel length is 1 7/8".

Comes with everything in the pics. Has original wood grips, matching serial numbered light grey cardboard box, instructions, piece of wax paper, warranty card, holster and ammunition advertisement papers.

The gun locks up tight and has no play, but unfortunately, the finish has seen better days. In the first bunch of pictures, you can see that the previous owner seems to never have taken care of the gun. The nickel is darkened and tarnished in most places, and it used to have a set of rubber grips on that caused pitting in areas of the frame. I have attempted to point those areas out in the first group of photos. Also, the top of the front sight blade was painted red.

The last four photos show what the gun looks like after a little elbow grease, a metal polish, and an old t-shirt. The finish has come alive. The red paint on the front sight is gone. The bits of pitting are still there, but the gun looks great now. The pitted areas of the grip can be covered up with a rubber grip.

I have tried to be as honest as possible in describing this gun. It is unfortunate that the finish was allowed to pit under the handguards. To me, this is simply a shooter.

I am asking $350.00 shipped (2nd day fedex) for the gun. Now $325.00 shipped. SPF to SASABERANGER
