This pistol is barely used, and basically new. Just 50 rounds fired thru her.
My first entry into the STI 1911 line. Here are some basic impressions:
Solid frame and slide fitment. No movement.
The slide has the frame's SN etched, to show the custom matched set.
Slide feels like it rides on bearings.
Frame and slide are also nicely blended at the rear, with the matching extractor and ejector.
Beavertail to frame was seemless blended.
Barrel lock up is tight.
Trigger is crisp.
Slide stop is easy to remove and install. Avoid the idiot scratch.
30lpi FSC is pretty nice and grippy.
Thumb safety snickers on/off flawlessly.
Extractor is nicely fitted to the FPS and doesn't clock in the slide.
The blank Heine rear sight is nice, and compatible to the 10-8 that I'm used to.
