Fujifilm camera/ model S1500

looked for a shop to take the camera near the house. no luck. any info / suggestions will be appreciated. it functions, takes good pictures. has a bunch of lens settings. but when batteries are put in, the batteries are drained if not used for a short time. and the camera will not function. thanks for any suggestions and info.

Look up the manufacturer on the web. Check contact info. Call or email with the nature of the problem, and ask for advice.

Oughta get you started, at least.

That's an oldie, and it wasn't real expensive to start with. I still have one around here somewhere, but I haven't used it in years.

Even if you can find a shop to repair it, it will probably cost you more than it's worth.

Maybe it's time for a new camera.
