Full Size Photos

Tried getting into Photobucket and for some reason I was having problems. I am tired of jumping through hoops anyway.
Is there a way to show a full sized photo here without resorting to a host such as Photobucket? On a test site at another forum it shows my pics as full page, but here they are small and only marginally bigger when you click on the pic.

Try using Tapatalk app, very easy to post pictures from and a much bigger picture. Good luck.

I use my I pad where I store all my pictures and save to the apple cloud. I was a Mac user and stored everything there, but not anymore with my IPad Pro and the cloud service from Apple. It can also be done just as simply from your phone.

Here's another option if you want to use your PC.
-Upload your photo(s) like you did in the first post.
-Once you submitted the post, hover over the thumbnail until it enlarges, then click on the enlarged image to bring it full screen.
-Highlight and copy the image address from the address bar at the top of window.
-Hit the "back" button a few times to get back to the post view.
-Click edit in the post and then click "go advanced". You'll see a little mountain icon at the top of the post window (insert image button); click on it.
-Paste the URL (address) into the field and click enter.

If there's a better way to do it, I don't know how. It's easier to do than it is to explain!

Good job!

Before you hit the insert image button, place your cursor where you want the image to be inserted.

If it's already inserted (like in your edited post), you can always cut and paste or highlight and drag the image where you want it.

There is a specific size limit for pictures added as attachments depending on file type. It tells you that when you click on the attachment button. See below. If you use the right extension then 1024x768 is enough for most purposes and is bandwidth friendly.

I have used S&WChad's method and like it, but wasn't sure it was quite kosher with the Forum Admins. Glad to hear it is.


The one thing is: you have to leave the thumbnail. If you delete it, the larger version goes too. Note both large & thumbnail below ...

Thanks for this, chad! It's a lot easier than fooling with Photobucket. Only thing is, the thumbnail stays on my post along with the larger version. Which is weird, because I deleted the attachment verbiage before inserting the link, and the thumbnail still shows up on there. Still, it's a much better method than using Photobucket -- thanks!
