5-29-09' I'm back to being once again an employed drone.
July is another engineering/construction employee's pay free "month off". At this rate if current trends and commercial building occupancy rates continue, I figure I'll be having 30 days off again in October. 1 or 2 months a year pay free is far better than having your ass kicked out on the street. There's one "younger" guy that doesn't see the benefit of doing it this way, rather than straight layoff and unemployment insurance. Those of us who've been through stuff like this in the past know what the difference is. But that wisdom only comes after getting "experience", just like the poster says!
