I went to Michigan for a few days to see my Mom, son, grandbabies, and also ran into an old friend. My son is an only child, so everything I have will go to him. Makes it nice and hassle free! I got to see my 7 month old grandson for the first time. My son has 2 girls and one boy. Jason Jr is a sweetheart! The best behaved baby I've ever seen! Although I expect that might change, growing up with two older sisters. I'm hoping after I'm gone, that my son will hold onto my guns and pass them on to my grandson. That is, if my grandson is even able to enjoy the freedoms we enjoy now when he becomes an adult. I think he'll be a big boy. His dad is 6'3 and 216 lbs of muscle. Anyway, it was nice seeing the family again, but it's nice to be back home again too! Here's a picture I took with my cell phone while I was up there of my son's 7 month old "snubbie".:)

What a great looking youngun'! You have the right to brag, go for it....

What a cute baby!!!

But save some of the guns for the granddaughters too. ;)

Good looking young man! Bet his sisters are cu-ties too!
If we keep giving the actual guns to the off spring, they'll be far more likely to maintain those freedoms, than they would be looking at ancient dog eared pictures of them.

Cute kid. My grandson is about the same age. I have seen what they turn into in 15 or 16 years though and it is not pretty...

Great looking grandson! Ours (just one) turns 2 next month. You did pretty well with your camera phone...that's not an easy camera to use!

I hear ya Gary! My son thinks that everytime I smiled at Jr. it was because of how cute he is. Some of those smiles were me thinking back to when my son was growing up, and knowing he'll now have the honor of knowing firsthand what it's like to raise a teenage boy! Like father, like son? I'm counting on it! ;)

Come join us!!!

Hey GunLovinGirl!

Awesome grandbaby!!! Those smiles are priceless!

We're not too far away from each other - I'm in Columbia.

Come join us at the Tennessee Firearms Association monthly meeting on July 21st... Our meetings are the third Tuesday of every month.

Location: Golden Coral in Hermitage. Buffet style restuarant.
(315 Old Lebanon Dirt Rd Hermitage, TN 37076)

The time is 7:00pm.

The meetings are family friendly, and my wife and son attend with me regularly.

For those not in the Nashville area, we also web-cast our meetings. If you are trying to get legislation passed in your state, watch us and see how we are doing it in Tennessee. We are perfect, but we made great strides in getting pro-gun owner legislation passed this year!!! We welcome one and all, and you can "Live Chat" with our camera operator who will in turn pass you questions and comments (as long as they are constructive and proper) on to our executive director as he conducts our meeting. The web cast is a new feature, so it may not look like a million dollar production - but it serves its purpose of getting the news out to those that can't attend. The web site is www.TFAonline.org.

We have a private meeting room and had over 65 people at our last meeting (June 16th.) You do not have to be a member to attend, and the only cost involved at the meeting is what you eat. TFA meeting attendees get a break, so let the person at the register know that you are there to attend the meeting.

Our membership has been growing tremendously since the last elections... We have people of all backgrounds there. Recent topics have mainly been concerning the recent firearms legislation that we have gotten passed on Capital Hill. Tennessee Firearms Association has been the driving force behind our new restaurant carry laws, parks carry laws, etc. The NRA contributes some input to the bills, but their lobbyist covers 5 states including Tennessee. The TFA gets to bend the ears of the legislatures just about every day, in session or not, and the wording of the bills often gets run past us before the bill is even submitted. We also cover news and legislation on the national level, so there is a lot to cover.

WE HAVE A GREAT TIME AND A GOOD MEAL (TUESDAY NIGHTS ARE "STEAK NIGHT" AT THE CORRAL), SO JOIN US!

Hope to see you there!!!
Mike
