What's the going price on a set of Fuzzy's grips these days?

No picture..... all I know at this point;

K-frame round butt

described as "like a set of Spegel Boot grips"

palm swell both sides
Rosewood?
open backstrap
3 finger grooves
closed bottom/extend about 1/8-3/16 below grip frame.

A buddy who used to manage a LGS found them in his safe...wanted to know if I was interested?????? He knows I a Spegel grips fan!

I am one of Farrants biggest fans. My carry gun is a K frame round butt and has Farrant rosewood with a palm swell on the right panel that is also checkered. The left panel is flat and smooth. Finger grooves. They are perfect in my opinion.
As for price, I have seen the same 4 or 5 pair on fleabay starting at $495 up to $795. I will add that they have never sold.
I personally can't afford buying any more Farrant grips, but I would give $200-$300 for them . I realize that is a broad range but to me anywhere in that range is acceptable. Again, I am a big fan of Farrant.

I sold two pair a few years back........financed 4-5 sets of Spegels!!!!

course Craig is still making them as fast as he can......... but still not fast enough to keep up with demand!

Count me in as a Fuzzy Farrant grip fan. I have a small collection of Farrant, Hurst, and early Hogue grips. The LAPD crew did some nice work.

As for "What are they worth?" That is truly a judgment call. They were a bit spendy way back when. If a buddy offered a set as described, in fine condition, I would be a buyer up to $150 and a procrastinator up to $200. YMMV.

A nice pair of K frame square butt Fuzzy grips sold on ebay earlier this month for $415 with 3 bidders going pretty hard at them.

Not yet....... haven't seen my buddy in 2 months...... was at the NE Ohio get together yesterday and saw a couple of sets for sell...... $125-150 IIRC.

Buddy is asking $150 on a smooth, round butt, set of extended "boot grip" style.

I've got three sets...all non checkered, all J frame.

Back when the 2 1/2" M-66's first came out I had one of THE first into NJ. The shop had a set of Farrants that someone had ordered but never picked up. They were smooth, zebrawoods for a std K rd butt. I bought those as well.

Carried it in a Rogers paddle holster. WISH I still had those Farrants!

Any one make any Farrant style clones?

I have two sets, both are smooth, and neither requires the frame to be cut.

I've shown these before, but, what the heck...

All grips purchased from Fuzzy by me many moons ago.

Sq butt 36 HB. Checkered palm swell on one side, smooth un-checkered on the other.


S&W 63. No checkering either side, both sides palm swell. Lovely feeling grip. One of my favorites.


Colt Police Positive HB. Palm swell/checkered on one side, smooth on the other.

I just have this one set of Fuzzy's grips, K Frame target grips for a smaller hand. I have a smaller to medium size hand and they fit great. Are currntly on a Mod 17-4, but that may change soon.
