G.F. Cake holster for Combat Commander

I just got a chance to buy back this Combat Commander from a friend and started digging in my box for a nice older holster to go with it. Bought the holster from Turnerriver at the symposium in Columbus, OH in 2014. I don’t know who actually made the holster, but is was sold by the George F. Cake Company in Berkely, CA. It’s very nicely flower carved and made to carry cocked and locked. The Commander shipped in 1977 so is likely a contemporary vintage to the holster.

I have a holster made by Wally Wolfram for George F.Cake Company,
but I don't recall ever seeing a floral carved holster by Wolfram. That
makes a nice attractive pair.

The EARL GINN CO. in Belmont CA also made holsters for the George F. Cake Co.

Heiser made holsters for Cake as well. The examples I’ve seen all have the Los Angeles addition to the stamp like this one.

In post #2 I mentioned I had a holster made by Wolfram for the
George R. Cake Company. It is Wolfram's Blazer brand that he used
when he was in Monrovia, CA. He was a law enforcement officer in
Monrovia. He was also a mentor to a young new upstart in the holster
business, John Bianchi.

When Wally was in Albuquerque, N.M. after WWII, he was also a law
enforcement officer. He started his holster business there and used
Wolf as a brand. Here on the right is a very early Wolf, made for the
F. M. Pitt Co.
